How can I tone down copper hair?
I colored a friends hair copper using 2 parts 7cc and 1 part 8cc, and we love the color but it is a little too vibrant. Is there any way to tone down the brightness of the shade without altering the actual color?
To be honest reds and coppers fade pretty quickly. Your probably best leaving it as the next few times she washes it, it will fade to a more toned down version of what it is anyway. You don’t really want to be putting more product on top of that colour because you will altar the condition of the hair.
